Septic system inspection is not included in our services offered.If you are in the process of buying a previously lived in home, that is on a septic tank system, we strongly encourage you to have the system inspected by a professional septic system contractor before closing on the sales transaction.
A properly performed inspection can prevent you from unknowingly, inheriting a problematic system. There are few inconveniences, frustrations, and embarrassments, that can compare to that of a poorly functioning septic system.
During the inspection process it is wise to take advantage of the opportunity to have the tank pumped out, whether or not, other problems are discovered.
Conventional septic systems are not entirely carefree. The undigested solids (sludge) in the bottom of the tank should be pumped out every 2 to 4 years, depending on usage and tank capacity. If the sludge is not removed periodically, it will eventually carry over into the leach field and cause the field to fail.
